Making an Impression as Ambassadors

New Life Island (Upper Black Eddy, PA) Carr, Jesse 08/17/2024

This teaching looks at 1 Timothy 4:12 and how we can be examples as believers to represent God. The teacher looks at the Greek word typos which is translated “example” in 1 Timothy 4:12 and goes to an example in Acts where the believers actions had an impact on people. Then, we see how we can be examples in word, in conversation, in the love of God, in believing, and in purity.

Don’t Wait for Someone Else to Do It

Lifestyle of a Believer Witnessing and Undershepherding New Life Island (Upper Black Eddy, PA) Hanan, Patrick 08/17/2024

God gets things done by working in people, including us. This teaching emphasizes that being an ambassador is our job, so we should go and do it. Do the work with diligence; do it right and do it now. The teacher warns that there will always be a reason not to do the Word, but the reason will never be good enough. We are equipped so, when you see a need, run to take care of it. When God tells you to do something, run to do it. You will never regret doing the Word.

The One Body: Ambassadors for Christ

The Great Mystery Witnessing and Undershepherding New Life Island (Upper Black Eddy, PA) Shaak, Erin 08/17/2024

This teaching looks at how we work together as a Body to make God’s will of having “all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth” come to pass. First, you are needed. Each believer has an important role in bringing God’s will to pass. Be an ambassador for Christ wherever you are, and don’t allow schisms in the Body. Second, you have what you need. We give people the Word which always works, the same power what was in Christ, and the authority that comes with the ministry of reconciliation.
