Following God: Examples in Action
Following God: Examples in Action Leadership and Service Old Testament Examples Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jesse Carr, Jerry 06/27/2018 06/27/2018
This teaching looks at examples of people following and not following God. We can follow God by revelation and by knowing His Word from the Bible. The Word is truth and the baseline of our decision making. The world’s way is not working, and people are hungry for real answers. We need God for everything in our lives. When we are given a charge by God, we go. The apostles in Acts 5 followed the angel of the Lord’s instruction to speak God’s Word. Philip ran to serve the Ethiopian eunuch by helping him with God’s Word. Elijah didn’t get all the information from God right away but followed one step at a time. Saul knew the commandment of the Lord but chose not to follow it. We have the greatest revelation ever given for us to follow in God’s Word. Following Christ leads to great rewards if we are doing it according to God’s Word. Obeying God gets us the victory, and that’s how to be more than a conqueror.
Obedience
Know What We’ve Been Freely Given
Sonship Rights Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 06/24/2018 06/24/2018
God wants us to know the things that He has freely given to us; this includes righteousness with full access to God, sanctification from the world to God, redemption through full payment, justification by God declaring men free from all guilt, reconciliation back to God, the manifestations of the holy spirit, power, and love. God gave us these things so that we can be blessed and happy no matter what we’ve been through. We should see ourselves as righteous and redeemed, not condemned. As we know and believe the things that have been freely given to us, we start producing fruit like peace, longsuffering, and gentleness. Believing our sonship rights helps us to be more than conquerors in manifestation. Wherever we walk, we walk with power because we know who we are: sons of God
Salvation: The Miracle of All Miracles
The New Birth Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 06/24/2018 06/24/2018
This teaching is about how salvation makes you more than a conqueror. It is the opening teaching of the camp and also gives a preview of other teachings to come. Becoming born again of God’s spirit is how it all started for us. God is rich in mercy and grace; He loved the world which had no hope. God so loved that He gave His son and rescued us. This is the miracle of all miracles. We went from being dead to being seated in the heavenlies, we are guaranteed eternal life, we’ve been forgiven of sins, and we are going to heaven where there won’t be any pain, not one tear. We’ve been delivered by the name of Jesus Christ and have been endued with power from on high. It is Christ in us, the hope of glory! We can’t act like it unless we think about who we are. If God delivered us from the power of darkness, then we are no longer under the Adversary’s power. God gave His son so that we can live more than abundantly in every category of life. There are incredible possibilities for the man of God to rise up. Step up, step out, go!
2018 Spring Advance Closing Sharing
Healing Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 05/06/2018 05/06/2018
In this closing sharing from the 2018 Spring Advance, we are reminded to pay attention to our motivation behind what we do. God’s heart is to see people whole, restored, and healed, and that should be our motivation for hearing and speaking God’s Word.
Psalm 107
Healing Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 05/04/2018 05/04/2018
This teaching introduces the theme verse for the 2018 Spring Advance, Psalms 107:20. We live in a world that is mean and destructive, and we, at times, need healing physically or in our hearts. We can cry out to God and expect Him to help us. We are reminded to accept God’s forgiveness in our lives, as His heart is always open to us.

As a short closing to the Advance weekend, Jerry reads an essay entitled “Love” by Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille. He thanks everyone for coming and recaps how the love of God makes people bubble on the inside and causes deliverance. He reminds people that there is a day coming when we will all be gathered together again.
