Casting All Our Care on Him
Renewed Mind Who God Is The Hermitage (Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ) Chatten, Bob 01/17/2026
One of the ways to practice dwelling on God is to cast all our care on Him. And the reason we can do so is because He cares for us, we matter to Him. In this teaching we look at the different keys to casting our care on Him and allowing Him to care for us that are found in the context – our being humble, recognizing we can’t solve our situations by our own ability or intelligence or resources, recognizing His tremendous ability represented by “His mighty arm”. After looking at ways God has powerfully supplied for His people throughout the Bible when they have sought His help, we consider what kinds of things the Bible calls “cares” and see how He always responds at just the right time with just the right solution for our need.

Developing a Lifestyle of Service
Leadership and Service Lifestyle of a Believer The Hermitage (Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ) Chatten, Bob 05/03/2025
Service to others in God’s name is a part of God’s design for every believer’s life and growth, not just something for a few special people or ones with a certain personality or knowledge. Just as we grow and mature physically from stage to stage in our lives, we can choose to grow and mature spiritually from stage to stage over the course of our lives. In this teaching we look at some of the different stages of spiritual growth and maturity mentioned in God’s Word, what is involved in reaching those stages, how we learn what our particular place of service in the Body of Christ is, the difference between our position and our function, and how urgent and important it is that each of us gives what we uniquely have to contribute.
