Casting All Our Care on Him

One of the ways to practice dwelling on God is to cast all our care on Him. And the reason we can do so is because He cares for us, we matter to Him. In this teaching we look at the different keys to casting our care on Him and allowing Him to care for us that are found in the context – our being humble, recognizing we can’t solve our situations by our own ability or intelligence or resources, recognizing His tremendous ability represented by “His mighty arm”. After looking at ways God has powerfully supplied for His people throughout the Bible when they have sought His help, we consider what kinds of things the Bible calls “cares” and see how He always responds at just the right time with just the right solution for our need.

If you want to change your life, change your thinking. This teaching starts by establishing the kinds of words that we are to dwell on and how there is no substitute for God’s Word. Then, it looks at how it takes time and effort to dwell on the Word to the point that it seeps deep into your heart, but it is worth the effort. If there is a part of your life that you need deliverance, healing, or just to get better at, put on the Word.

This final teaching in Jerry’s series on healing takes place in the week following the 2023 Atlanta Fall Advance. He goes through Psalm 107 and teaches that the Word of God and the love of God, when combined, are the greatest healing reality there is. We also see how loving of a God that our God is. As we believe God’s Word and walk in love, we bring healing to our lives and to the lives of those we interact with.
