Jesus Christ: Our Decision to Believe
Believing The New Birth Renewed Mind Sonship Rights Hasbrouck Heights VFW (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) Zolezzi, Steve 02/16/2014 02/16/2014
This teaching is about Jesus Christ and our choice, our decision, to believe in him. Man’s choice, today and throughout history, has always been whether to believe the Lord Jesus Christ or not. According to God’s Word, how are Christians are supposed to live? By believing Jesus Christ as well as believing the power, the righteousness, and all of the other sonship rights we have in Christ. We take the place of the absent Christ because inside every born-again believer is Christ. We can show forth the love of God, perform the miracles, raise the dead, and speak the Word. It is our decision to choose to believe who we are in Christ. In the book of Romans, God’s solution for man’s plight and to make the world a better place is Jesus Christ. Will we choose to stumble at the stumblingstone because of our unbelief or will we live a victorious Christian life by believing what he accomplished?

Being Real is Believing Who You Are

This teaching is about our true identity in Christ and not believing anything less than what the Word says about us. We shouldn’t let our past hold us back from where we are now and we don’t have time to entertain anything less than the Word. We’ve been delivered and we are sons of God. We should be more convinced about what the Word says about us than what the world says about us. Where God has placed us in the Body is right. We should stand out in the world and not cover ourselves to fit in, just as Jesus Christ did not try to fit in with the world in his times. People cannot take away God’s spiritual seed that’s in you, but they can try to convince you that you are not righteous or victorious. Spend time with God to see how you fit in the body and what you can do. Do you want to please God? Believe who you are and believe what the Word says. Shine your light, don’t dim it down.
Believing the Truth

This teaching is about how God designed life so He could be with His family. He ordered life so that He is able to bless, help, provide, and lead us like a good father leads his family. True Christianity is not a religion or a philosophy, it is the way of a Father with His family. When we let God do His part as a Father to meet our needs, then we are not overly burdened and are able to serve. This order for life allows us to serve God and His people, even when its not convenient. We should be able to rearrange our plans if a need pops up. As an example, this teaching looks at Jesus Christ’s taking care of God’s people after the death of John the Baptist.
The Family of God

The teacher begins by talking about the healing service that took place the night before and how God’s power was there with all nine manifestations in operation. He talked about the prayers of vision, healing, and spiritual deliverance he had for the believers for the week of camp, and he discussed making right decisions for our lives by being in an abundance of God’s Word like we have at camps. Then, he read verses from Psalm 119 that spoke of God’s liberty, comfort, tender mercies, loving kindness, light, and of communing with God in prayer. He finished with reading John, Chapter 17.

The Love of God Never Fails
Jesus Christ’s Example Love Greenkill Conference Center Chatten, Bob 06/27/2019 06/27/2019
This teaching shows how Jesus Christ loved Judas with the love of God. The 16 characteristics of God’s love from 1 Corinthians 13 are demonstrated by Jesus Christ as he interacted with Judas. The love of God is the most powerful thing there is. Jesus Christ never quit on Judas or anyone else; he loved them unto the end. The love of God never fails, it never fades, it never fails to accomplish what God wants it to accomplish, it will never cease to be necessary, and it will never be replaced by anything better. When everything else ends and we go on to our perfect home and life in eternity, God and His love will remain because love never fails. Whenever and wherever we walk in the love of God, we can never fail.
Forgiveness
Being Strong in Forgiveness
The Great Mystery Greenkill Conference Center Armstrong, Joe 06/27/2019 06/27/2019
This teaching looks at the great importance of forgiving ourselves and forgiving other people. There’s more to forgiveness than just you because it affects the whole Body of Christ. Peter is given as an example of forgiving ourselves. Peter made some serious mistakes in his life, but that did not prevent him from receiving holy spirit or performing miracles. He did not let his mistakes, recent or not, hold him back from helping people. Even though we are not perfect, we still have holy spirit and are worthy of receiving revelation. Then, Joseph is given as an example of forgiving other people. Joseph was treated extremely unfairly by his own family, yet he knew that God could make it right. We forgive and expect that God is bigger than that person in your life. We don’t have the right to seek retribution, only God does. If we want to be around people, we will have to forgive a lot. We cannot expect people to be perfect. We do not wrestle against people because the cause of evil in this world is the Adversary. Everyone in life makes mistakes, and we have to get over it because people still need us. People are going to make big mistakes towards you, but you still need them. Love sees more, but it also sees less.
