Witnessing and the Manifestations

Receiving the Holy Spirit and Manifestations Witnessing and Undershepherding Greenkill Conference Center Zolezzi, Steve 04/27/2019 04/27/2019

This teaching is about the combination of speaking God’s Word and operating the manifestations. God has given us what we need to carry out the ministry of reconciliation: Word and works, preaching and power. The ministry of Jesus Christ was Word and works. He isn’t here anymore, but we are and are able to follow his example. God can help us when we are witnessing so we can help people believe God’s Word like Jesus Christ did with Nathanael. Jesus wasn’t out witnessing when he helped the woman at the well, but his operation of God’s power got her attention. We can do undeniable miracles in the name of Jesus Christ like Peter and John at the gate of the Temple. We cannot be tricked out of speaking the Word because of fear, discouragement, or not having enough time. We have the right to speak God’s Word with all boldness and power. Revelation, healing, power and deliverance – how big do we want to walk with God in our own life?

How I Got Into God’s Word – Chrissy Cahill

Love Witnessing and Undershepherding Greenkill Conference Center Cahill, Chrissy 04/27/2019 04/27/2019

Chrissy Cahill shares her personal experience on how she prayed for an opportunity to understand God’s Word, and God answered her prayer. After years of hungering after God’s Word, she attended a Halloween party and heard the rightly divided Word of God for the first time. Chrissy recounts believers standing up for her and demonstrating tremendous love. She decides to stick around after seeing God’s love, how God answers prayers, and how the Word fits together. We should be careful not to rule out people when deciding on who to speak God’s Word to. The Word of God and His love changes lives.

The Example of a Believer

Lifestyle of a Believer Love Greenkill Conference Center Armstrong, Joe 04/27/2019 04/27/2019

This teaching is about being an example of a believer and being a kind person. A believer is someone who trusts God and His promises. A believer can say in the worst of situations “be of good cheer” because they trust in God and not in men. Believers have joy, stay calm, and can even sleep through storms. Our God can do wonderful things. Believers expect God to take care of them and know that He can turn a situation around. We don’t live our lives filled with fear because we have confidence in God. Our examples as believers affect other people and can help them to not be afraid. People can know how kind God is when you show forth kindness. We want to be loving and kind in our actions as God is loving and kind.

Our Attitude Towards God’s Word

Believing Integrity of the Word Greenkill Conference Center Chatten, Bob 04/27/2019 04/27/2019

We are taught how knowing that God’s Word and His will are in the scriptures allows us to go to them with confidence. We read of a living Word that is always dynamic, and we have a God who is omnipotent. We should have the hunger to see God work, always expecting that the pure Word of God believed will produce the desired effect.

How I Got Into God’s Word – Lantz Arrington

Love Witnessing and Undershepherding Greenkill Conference Center Arrington, Lantz 04/27/2019 04/27/2019

Lantz gives a heartfelt overview of how he got into the Word and what attracted him to it. He grew up in “churchianity” but wondered why his church did not include all different types of people like his school did. His mom encouraged him to try other types of churches, and he searched for a long time. One day, a believer invited him over for dinner, and he stayed for his first fellowship afterwards. He gives examples of believers who invested their time and energy in him, demonstrated love and care towards him, and believed in him. He heard the truth of God, how He loves us, how He is light, and how He doesn’t kill or make people sick. The day he spoke in tongues he knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that he was a son of God with all power!

Prayer and Outreach

Prayer Greenkill Conference Center Gilmore, Michael 04/27/2019 04/27/2019

The teaching shows how prayer is an essential part of a believer’s life and an essential part of a fellowship as believers together in one accord. We see in the New Testament what is focused on in prayer and what the believers prayed for. We see how it is God Who is the one that is at the center of all genuine outreach.
