Deliverance from Condemnation

Deliverance Renewed Mind The First-Century Church Aldersgate Center Chatten, Bob 06/04/2005 06/04/2005

This wonderful teaching examines the life of Paul. We see his life prior to being born again and his life afterwards. He did terrible things to the believers, to Jesus Christ and God, but once he saw that he was completely wrong, he was able to accept the grace and mercy from God. This is for a pattern for us to not condemn ourselves but to walk in righteous power and love.

Physical Deliverance

Healing Jesus Christ’s Example Aldersgate Center Gilmore, Michael 06/04/2005 06/04/2005

This teaching looks at many records in the gospels of Jesus Christ healing and delivering people in order to demonstrate a few things to us: (1) it is God’s will to heal; (2) it takes believing for our deliverance; (3) healing is our God-given right by Christ’s accomplishments; and (4) God’s Word gives us absolute wholeness. Other topics include the origin of sickness, condemnation, why everyone doesn’t get healed, and who gets the glory in genuine healings. Religion is based on works and is always looking for a formula. God’s Word says that there is deliverance for healing. We need to do what God tells us to do in the situation; God told Jesus Christ what to do, he did it, and then there was deliverance. Jesus Christ was always interested in complete deliverance, not just physical healing. Very often deliverance in people’s lives also brings great deliverance in the lives of people who observe it. The greatest healing that we know of comes from hearing God’s Word.

Deliverance from Fear

Dealing with the Adversary Deliverance Overcoming Fear Aldersgate Center Diaz, Aneira 06/04/2005 06/04/2005

What is fear? Fear is the result or consequence of man disobeying God. This teaching covers how the Word of God is truth and provides true healing and deliverance from fear. Fear is bondage, torture, and a trap that only the Devil himself could devise to prevent people from walking in the freedom that God has intended for man to walk in. God dealt with fear by dealing with the Adversary and promising a Savior. If God raised someone from the dead, do you think God can help you with any of your fears? We have victory even over death. The Word of God is that safe place where we can get help. When we bring to the forefront of our minds that it is Christ in us, we are sons of God, and we are going to Heaven, it changes our perspective and allows us to have the upper hand in any situation.

Deliverance from the World

God Wants Us Delivered

Believing Deliverance Integrity of the Word Aldersgate Center Cahill, Jimmy 06/03/2005 06/03/2005

We know people by watching the pattern of their lives; we know God through His Word. In His Word, we see the pattern of what He has done. This teaching reviews God’s plan from Genesis to Revelation to see how God has been “fixing things”, how men are helped, healed, rescued and delivered by God.

Two Responsibilities

Marriage, Family and Children Witnessing and Undershepherding Aldersgate Center Zolezzi, Steve 05/14/2000 05/14/2000

We have two responsibilities with spiritual knowledge as a Christian family – to know it and to share it. Teaching children God’s Word takes repetition and does not happen overnight. The Word of God gets passed down from generation to generation when it is lived and taught in the family. Timothy learned about believing God from his mother and grandmother. The first priority, even over football practice and ballet class, is make an effort to teach kids about the beginning of knowledge, which is God’s Word. Whether we are parents who want to pass along God’s Word to their children, children who need learn God’s Word to stand, or people in the body of Christ who want to speak God’s Word, there needs to be desire and effort to plant, water, and hold forth the Word of life to see outreach. As believers, it is our responsibility and joy to be able to share God’s Word with people and our children so they can walk worthy of God.
