Believe Like Never Before

Believing Greenkill Conference Center Mercado, Dean 04/29/2017 04/29/2017

This is a very encouraging teaching on the simplicity of believing God at His Word. Just knowing one promise and believing it will show that God can do amazing things. Jesus Christ knew that he had authority as God’s Son, and we too can walk with the same authority. God supplies; we believe. We can be a generation of great believers.

Make Your Mind Behave

Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jesse 04/29/2016 04/29/2016

“To change our minds, we must change the thoughts that are fed into our minds.” In this teaching, we cover the importance of managing our thinking and feeding God’s Word to ourselves. The teacher describes the process of changing one’s habit patterns thorough the example of a daily routine and covers specific things God says about our minds and our responsibility to control what we think. We look at the Apostle Paul as an example of someone who woke up every day knowing exactly what his life was about, both before and after he began working for the one true God. We finish by reading verses in 1 Corinthians, Philippians, and Romans that emphasize the importance of being around other believers and living with people who help us renew our minds to God’s Word.

Some Things That Help Us Along with Our Believing

Believing Greenkill Conference Center Waite, Michelle 04/29/2016 04/29/2016

This teaching is about how God will always help us along with our believing. Nobody gets missed with God. He settles us down. His willingness equals His ability. It is about how loving and kind our God is. God is not a respecter of persons, but He is a respecter of believing. We are to stay our minds on the Word and meditate on the Word day and night. Stay put on God’s Word until it comes to pass. We were the joy that was set before Jesus Christ. Believe the promises of God’s Word and act on them.

The teaching covers how to believe God’s Word, how to receive God’s Word, and what it takes to hold on to that Word. It covers the many things we were freely given and what we need to do to obtain those things.

Praising God and Having Favor

Love The First-Century Church Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 05/01/2016 05/01/2016

This teaching emphasizes how the first-century Church celebrated God as a family. They had a lot of power because they received the Word with believing and operated the manifestations. They built each other up with God’s Word, ministering grace to one another. The love of God is reviewed, reminding us that this love will outlast everything else.

One Accord

The First Century Church Greenkill Conference Center Zolezzi, Steve 05/01/2016 05/01/2016

This teaching is about the importance of unity in light of Acts 2:42-47. Great things happen in the Bible when people are of one accord. The believers stood united in Acts and walked with God which took the move of God’s Word to different continents and languages. If people are not united on right doctrine and practice then the Word doesn’t move. To put out a campfire, one thing you can do is spread the coals; we don’t want to be a campfire that goes out because we are separated. We need to stay unified, and then people who are out in the cold will want to join the bonfire. We are likeminded on the Word according to the risen Christ, and we can’t let guilt separate us from God or the believers. Love is proactive and helps to prevent practical errors which can lead to doctrinal error. It keeps things simple when God and His Word are the priority. If the Word is going to move, it’s going to take someone to move it. God moved in Christ Jesus; now it’s our move.
