This teaching handles Romans Chapter 5, showing the justice of God in giving His son Jesus Christ as the perfect substitute for mans plight. It handles why we need to be reconciled back to God and how we received our reconciliation. A comparison is made between the “first Adam” and the “second Adam” – Jesus Christ. The first Adam brought sin nature and spiritual death, while the second Adam brought the new nature of justification, spiritual and eternal life. The sharing closes with believing God’s Word about ourselves and others in order to really live the Mystery and love and help each other.

This teaching covers the wrath of God to the unjust in the day of God’s judgement. It also explains how they exchanged the glory of God for idols and exchanged the truth of God for a lie. They started in idolatry and ended up in homosexuality despite knowing God’s standard of justice so they were inexcusable. Then, in Chapter 3, it is covered that man’s justification was needed because none were righteous and all were guilty before God.

The New Birth Sonship Rights Daggon Home (Budd Lake, NJ) Chatten, Bob 10/26/2007 10/26/2007

This teaching begins by going back to the Old Testament to see man’s Fall and his inability to pay the legal penalty necessary for salvation from the consequences of that Fall. It shows how God, because of His justness and mercy, planned how to provide a legal solution – someone completely innocent who would give his life as a ransom, paying to overcome the sin nature. It talks about what God did to temporarily cover man’s sin until the Messiah could come and then shows how, in Romans Chapter 4, God puts to rest all arguments against His righteousness. The teaching closes with “what” we’re to believe in order to accept and receive the wholeness Christ made available.

This teaching traces examples of how Jesus Christ taught and trained Peter to be a leader. It shows how in order to be a great leader, you must first be a great follower. The records covered show how those that were with Jesus Christ were taught by both words and example and how a turning point in Peter’s life was his learning to accept reproof.
