2011-02 Northern Area Day in the Word – Believing Concerning Jesus Christ

This was the first of two Days in the Word held in the Northern Area of New Jersey in 2011. These events consisted of an afternoon with multiple teachings for adults with separate children’s fellowships going on at the same time, simultaneous translation into Spanish, breaks to allow the believers to fellowship together, and a dinner after the teachings. Each one centered around a biblical theme, in this case “Believing Concerning Jesus Christ” with a theme verse of Galatians 2:20.
2006 Northern Area Day in the Word – A Night with the Believers

This Day in the Word had a Bible teaching followed by a dinner and dancing. There was simultaneous translation of the teaching to Spanish and a separate children’s fellowship. It was an opportunity for the believers from fellowships throughout the Northern Area of New Jersey to be together.
2024 Northern Area Day in the Word
Believing Montclair Women’s Club (Montclair, NJ) Various Teachers 01/20/2024
This event consisted of an afternoon with two teachings for adults with separate children’s fellowships going on at the same time, breaks to allow the believers time to fellowship together, refreshments, a bookstore, and a dinner after the teachings were over. It was an opportunity for the believers from fellowships throughout Northern New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut to be together.

This series, taught in Rev. Jerry Carr’s Thursday night fellowships, highlights God’s great ability to deliver His people and His desire to do so. In each of the teachings Rev. Carr usually covers a record of deliverance from the Old Testament, one from the Gospels, and one from the Book of Acts, as well as stories of deliverance of God’s people in our day and time. As we read the records, he points out different practical principles as to how we can see God’s deliverance in our own lives. The sharings each end with reading a Psalm that expresses God’s heart to deliver and the hearts of His people as they see Him deliver them.

2023 Summer Camp – God’s Prevailing Word

For our first Summer Camp for adults since 2019 and our first at the Spruce Lake Retreat Center, the overall theme of the week was “God’s Prevailing Word”. The teachings each day revolved around a sub-theme: Monday was on “God’s Prevailing Word”, Tuesday on “Acts of Love”, Wednesday on “Believing Action”, Thursday on “Go Tell – Speaking God’s Word”, and Friday was the wrap-up summarizing the week.

These events consisted of an afternoon with three teachings for adults with separate children’s fellowships going on at the same time and long breaks to allow the believers to fellowship together. Each one centered around a biblical theme, in this case “Faithful”.
