Why Can’t We All Get Along?

Love The Property Foley, George 07/01/2011 07/01/2011

This teaching handles God’s thoughts on getting along. God’s Word tells us that it is good and pleasant for brethren to dwell together in unity. God has laid it out so easily in His Word how to get along. When we listen to God’s Word, it makes us wiser. We can be followers of God by walking in love; this helps us get along. Being where God’s Word is taught, where God’s Word is spoken, and where people are living God’s Word will help us get wiser. There is victory, wholeness, and safety in the sharing of God’s Word amongst believers. Being in each other’s presence brings joy. Having tenderness and compassion towards one another also helps us get along, enjoying all that God has given us together. Also, not allowing strife, anger, and discord in the Body will help us get along. Being with each other is healing. Being a true friend, one that sticks around and loves with the love of God, helps us to get along. The teaching closes by looking how how believers got along in the first-century Church in Acts, Chapter 2.

The Love of God

This teaching shows how much God loves us, and as we see how huge that love is, we can minister love to others. We are encouraged to really consider what God’s Word says about love and to hide it in our hearts. God paid a very high price for us: His only begotten son! Jesus Christ gave his life for us; therefore, we can make the decision to love people. We can grow in and fight for the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation.

2011 Adult Advance

Believing Love Prayer The Fellowlaborers’ House & The Property Various Teachers 06/30/2011 07/03/2011

The Adult Advance was the outgrowth of a thought that Rev. Jerry Carr had had for a long time – how great it would be to get together a bunch of believers 35 years old and over who had been standing faithfully on God’s Word for many years and just spend four days hanging out together and enjoying God’s Word together. Depending on the weather, some sessions were held in the basement of the Fellowlaborers’ house and others were held outside at The Property. The 94 believers who attended were truly, as Jerry called them, “the foundation and the pillars of the believers in New Jersey.”
