Signs, miracles, and wonders are explained as well as how they produce respect for God and a rising of believing that brings more signs, miracles, and wonders with the end result of the Word moving over the world.

Once we are born again of God’s spirit, we have the ability to have God our Father communicate with us. We see that He understands us and speaks to us as little children. We are never alone; he is always with us to bless, comfort, direct, guide and help us. We can decide to live like His children or else walk by our five senses.

Jesus Christ was God’s plan for bridging the gap between the natural man and the spiritual realm. In this teaching, we look at select examples in the Gospel of John in which Jesus Christ explained how holy spirit works and demonstrated how to see things spiritually. We also look at the example of Samuel when he first learned to hear from God by revelation, and we cover from verses in some New Testament epistles that highlight specifics about what the gift of holy spirit means for us.

We are told how we have the ministry of reconciliation and that speaking in tongues is our proof in the senses realm that we know for sure that we are born again. The five records in the Book of Acts where people received holy spirit are summarized and one is looked at in depth, showing an example of how Peter listened to God to bring the Gentiles to the new birth.

Lightbearers 2011 was a four day weekend event at the end of 2011 and into New Year’s Day 2012 for believers ages 13 – 30. People from outside of the Milltown area were housed with local believers during the weekend. With the theme verse being 1 Thessalonians 1:8: “For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God is spread abroad so that we need not to speak any thing,” in addition to the teachings it included significant time out witnessing. The fellowship on Friday evening, December 30th, was also open to believers who were not participating in the whole weekend and many came to join in the Word and the fun that evening.
