This teaching about recognizing our positions as sons of God has three parts: (1) what is our standing right now? (2) what is the significance of our position? and (3) how can we utilize this position as sons of God? Before we can walk out as sons of God, we need to perceive God’s love towards us. This position has nothing to do with our accomplishments, shortcomings, or whether we feel like sons of God. We are sons of God now! Although we do not need to work for our sonship rights, we do need to put in the work to remember them. The youngest son from the Parable of the Forgiving Father is given as an example of a son who asked boldly for something he knew already belonged to him. We can claim our sonship rights as God’s sons because they have been freely given to us. Set aside anything that is weighing you down, and renew your mind thought by thought. Believe in who we are, sons of God with Christ in us!

The teacher set forth the four keys on how to renew your mind. He goes over why we should study the Word of God more than other material by showing us it is the God-breathed Word. When we do that, we build our minds and hearts to God, and that helps us manifest a victorious life. He covers the record in Nehemiah where the Word was understood by the people resulting in very great gladness.

To conclude, Joe instructs that, when pressure comes, we should pray, grab hold of our minds, and, once the deliverance comes, shake off the dust of our feet.

This teaching is about the battle of the senses versus revelation faith. Bob talks about the battle we are in between the two natures we have from the two seeds we are born with. He explains these two natures, the old man nature and the new man nature, and tells us about the fruit each nature produces. Finally, we are taught to cultivate the kind of fruit we want in our lives by aligning the thoughts we think and actions we take to the Word, thus becoming more Christ like and walking as God’s sons.
