The theme of our second Florida Advance was Colossians 2:2: “That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ” and highlighted the different parts of that verse: the comfort of God, the love of God, having a knowledge and understanding of God’s Word, and the unity that comes from the Mystery. The fact that the majority of the believers present from across Florida and other states were either native Spanish speakers or bilingual in English and Spanish led to an unusual feature of this weekend. The Saturday and Sunday morning sessions were conducted in English with simultaneous translations into Spanish, while the Saturday evening session was conducted in Spanish with simultaneous translation into English.
