Overview of Romans

Overview of Romans Sonship Rights The New Birth Various Locations Various Teachers 10/21/2007 11/16/2007
The purpose of this teaching series was to give the Bible student an introduction to the first epistle to the Church – the Book of Romans. It covers the relationship between Romans and the other Church Epistles and then goes on to look at the major themes of God’s message in the different sections of the book. This series is great for the believer or fellowship that wants to understand better why we needed a savior, what Jesus Christ accomplished for us and made available to us as individual believers, and how we’re now to live in light of that.
The series was taught in the Northern Area of New Jersey, with the first and last sessions taking place with the whole area together at the Hasbrouck Heights VFW, and then the in-between sessions were taught in each of the branches of the Northern Area – at the Zolezzis’ in Glen Rock, the 76th Street house in North Bergen, the Cinardos’ in Rutherford, and the Daggons’ in Budd Lake.

Rev. Steve Zolezzi organized this series of teachings for the Northern Area of New Jersey with a goal of seeing Jesus Christ’s example of leadership in various categories: his witnessing and undershepherding, his believing and application of God’s Word, his operation of the manifestations, and his training and raising up of Peter as a leader for the time after he would be gone.

God’s Law of Prosperity

God’s Law of Prosperity Believing Prosperity Daggon Home (Budd Lake, NJ) Chatten, Bob 03/19/2004 03/28/2004
This series is intended to set a vision for God’s desire is for His people to prosper in every category of life. It shows that true prosperity is spiritual prosperity and that material prosperity is really a reflection or by-product of our relationship with God. When we seek the blessings without first seeking the Blessor, the God who sees and provides for His people, it doesn’t work for us. But when we keep our focus on God as our sufficiency, then things in life flow as He designed them to. The teachings cover two of the major principles God has set up for us to apply in order the receive the abundance and prosperity He wants to shower us with – our giving and our work. The last sessions in the series more specifically cover some ways we can apply God’s Word at work and the blessings that come from that important part of life.

The Adult Advance was the outgrowth of a thought that Rev. Jerry Carr had had for a long time – how great it would be to get together a bunch of believers 35 years old and over who had been standing faithfully on God’s Word for many years and just spend four days hanging out together and enjoying God’s Word together. Depending on the weather, some sessions were held in the basement of the Fellowlaborers’ house and others were held outside at The Property. The 94 believers who attended were truly, as Jerry called them, “the foundation and the pillars of the believers in New Jersey.”
