God loved us first, when we didn’t deserve it, and now we’re to love others in that same unconditional way. Our love is not to be conditioned by how people have treated us, how they respond to us, or whether we have anything in common with them. Part of that unconditional love is to forgive, even if the other doesn’t deserve it and hasn’t asked for forgiveness. By doing this we will be walking in God’s way. We’ll be blessed and be a blessing.

Dios nos amó primero, cuando no lo merecíamos, y ahora nosotros hemos de amar a otros de esa misma forma incondicional. Nuestro amor no ha de ser condicionado por cómo alguien nos ha tratado, ni por cómo responden a nosotros, ni por si tenemos algo en común con ellos o no. Parte de ese amor incondicional es el perdonar, aún si el otro no lo merece ni nos ha pedido perdón. Por hacer esto, estaremos andando en el camino de Dios. Estaremos bendecidos y seremos una bendición.
