Believing Energized by Love
Believing Love Greenkill Conference Center Armstrong, Joe 04/30/2017 04/30/2017
This teaching is about making sure that our believing is activated and energized by love. You can believe without love, but believing with love is strong. We can believe to help others and make a decision to care about people. We are a force in this life as God’s ambassadors and kids. We already have great concern about ourselves, and we can have the same concern about the people around us. The parable of the good Samaritan is read to show the importance of caring for others, especially if you care about God. God loves everybody including the unlovable and the unthankful. Right doctrine produces unconditional love. We have so much to give: we have holy spirit, we can heal people, and we can help people have eternal life. Believe to help and to make a difference in this earth with your life. Believing energized by love prevails!
Taking Care of People
The Decision to Believe
Believing Jesus Christ’s Example Greenkill Conference Center Zolezzi, Steve 04/30/2017 04/30/2017
This teaching is about the decision to believe God’s Word. It looks at the example of Jesus Christ’s believing and how he expected others to also believe if they wanted deliverance in their life. Jesus Christ was a pioneer in believing as the author and finisher. He believed God’s Word all the way through and was tempted in all ways yet without sin. Jesus Christ isn’t on earth anymore, but we have all the power of God in Christ in us. The decision to believe God’s Word, including Christ’s accomplishments, is the most important decision we will ever have in our life as it has eternal bearings. We make the decision to believe every day. Fear issues in unbelief; we need to “be not afraid, only believe” when intimidating issues come up in life. The teaching ends with a look at Matthew 6 in regards to the decision to think in a carnal way (with worry, doubt, and fear) or in a spiritual way. We can change our heart by changing our thinking. Unbelievers seek to meet their own needs, but we as believers have a different lifestyle. We seek God first, and, in doing so, He supplies the rest. There is a lot of fear and worry in the world, but we can make the decision to believe God in our lives. We can choose to lead people out and be pioneers back to God.
God’s Word: The Greater Reality
Believing Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Chatten, Bob 04/29/2017 04/29/2017
This is a simple and deep teaching on believing. God’s Word must be to us the greater reality. If we elevate the senses, facts, and our emotions above the promises God has given to us, we will be defeated. We must take our eyes off ourselves and our inability and put them on God.
God’s Word: Our Criterion for Believing
Believing Integrity of the Word Greenkill Conference Center Gilmore, Michael 04/29/2017 04/29/2017
This teaching discusses how believing comes by hearing God’s Word, how the Word of God is our foundation, and that God will perform what He has promised in His Word.
Believe Like Never Before
Believing Greenkill Conference Center Mercado, Dean 04/29/2017 04/29/2017
This is a very encouraging teaching on the simplicity of believing God at His Word. Just knowing one promise and believing it will show that God can do amazing things. Jesus Christ knew that he had authority as God’s Son, and we too can walk with the same authority. God supplies; we believe. We can be a generation of great believers.
Make Your Mind Behave
Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jesse 04/29/2016 04/29/2016
“To change our minds, we must change the thoughts that are fed into our minds.” In this teaching, we cover the importance of managing our thinking and feeding God’s Word to ourselves. The teacher describes the process of changing one’s habit patterns thorough the example of a daily routine and covers specific things God says about our minds and our responsibility to control what we think. We look at the Apostle Paul as an example of someone who woke up every day knowing exactly what his life was about, both before and after he began working for the one true God. We finish by reading verses in 1 Corinthians, Philippians, and Romans that emphasize the importance of being around other believers and living with people who help us renew our minds to God’s Word.
