This teaching focuses on agapē love being God’s very nature and how it is available for God’s children to love with the same type of unconditional and unselfish love in the new birth. Love in the renewed mind in manifestation is the distinguishing characteristic of the Lord Jesus Christ’s followers upon the Earth. Loving with the love of God is a commitment out of freedom of will and is not based on emotion or the actions of other people. God loves me, therefore I love you; since God’s love for me never changes, neither does my love for you since my love is based on God. If we compromise on right doctrine, what we are manifesting ceases to be agapē. God’s love is like a magnet that draws people to God; it is the most powerful motivating factor in the world. God has poured into us His perfect love nature, and we as His sons can have that love in full manifestation in all aspects of our lives.

Pressing Toward the Mark

We are pressing toward the mark of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. This teaching takes a look at the life of the Apostle Paul, a man who believed in the return of Jesus Christ, and what it took for him to press toward the mark. The Hope of Christ’s return takes you beyond the here and now. There is rest in the Hope. God will reveal things to you to help keep you moving in your race. Salvation is by grace, and once you are in the household, there are rewards and crowns to be won. The Bible mentions five crowns that can be won. Our footsteps upon this earth are temporal, but what we do for God and for His Word in our lifetime will be heard throughout all eternity. We have a living hope because we have a living God. God never forgets His people. This is our time in history for us to lay hold of the high calling of Jesus Christ, our Hope. Allow God to set the vision of our lives. We are sons of the Almighty God pressing toward the mark.
Our Hope: Christ’s Return

This teaching is overflowing with truths about the great Hope of Christ’s return and what it means for us as the body of Christ. It starts off with fall of man in the Garden of Eden and our need for hope. It breaks down the events of Jesus Christ’s second coming and the comfort we have as a result. Then, it looks at all of today’s issues that will be COMPLETELY done away with as a result of the Hope, starting with the seven things in Romans 8 that can try to separate us from the love of Christ. There will be perfect unity with the Hope; division will be done away with. We are going to get perfect, eternal, supernatural, and unfathomably wonderful bodies. The rulers of the darkness of this world will be overcome. And finally, there is going to be the final destruction of the Devil and his greatest weapon, death. We’ve never known life without the Adversary. There will be no more pressure, hurt, or evil. It will be gone forever, never again to be seen. We will no longer have need for the whole armor of God because the fiery darts of the wicked will not exist. Paradise restored is the final culmination of the Hope. The central blessing is that God will be there with us face to face like in the original Paradise. Our God has always been a God of hope and He wants us to be people full of hope as a present reality. The hope of Christ’s return is the Christian believer’s immovable North Star that keeps us on course and influences everything we do. Every time we speak in tongues we prove that Jesus Christ got up from the dead and remember that he is coming back. To know and to love the Lord Jesus Christ is to joyfully anticipate his return. We have the Hope of Christ’s return…he is coming back!
