2022 Northern Area Day in the Word – Trust in the Lord with All Thine Heart

This was the first Day in the Word in New Jersey since January of 2020. It consisted of an afternoon with three teachings for adults with concurrent children’s fellowships, breaks for the believers to fellowship together, and a dinner after the teachings were over. The theme for the day was “Trust in the Lord With All Thine Heart” with Proverbs 3:5-6 as the theme verses.

In this teaching, the teacher discusses why and how to claim the promises of God. She makes the decision to claim God’s promises simple by explaining the following: (1) what kind of God we have; (2) the limitations that we have; and (3) three specific promises that we can claim. There is also exhortation to get needs met during the weekend of this Advance. She closes by teaching the how-to of claiming God’s promises.

This teaching is about believing and how believing what the Word of God says about you protects you from the fiery darts of the Adversary. The teacher shows how Jesus Christ handled these fiery darts and that he stood against the Devil by confessing the Word. The teacher exhorts us to learn what the Bible says, to be bold about believing it, and to stand.
