Believing vs. Fear
Believing Overcoming Fear Greenkill Conference Center Gilmore, Michael 04/24/2010 04/24/2010
This teaching opens by looking at two sections in Mark where Jesus handles believing. It establishes the importance of our focus and firm reliance on God as well as making an active decision to believe. The teaching handles fear and it’s effects as the believers greatest enemy. We are reminded of our job to trust and seek and of God’s job to deliver and keep us safe. This teaching closes with the results of trusting God.

This teaching tells us how to receive things God has promised us. It covers definitions of what believing is and covers some records of people who believed and how they believed. It shows us about being confident and persuaded on God’s promises and shows us the power God has in order to help us and care for us.
Nothing New but Tried and True
Believing Integrity of the Word Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 04/23/2010 04/23/2010
This teaching emphasizes the fact that we have a single standard for faith and practice: God’s Word. The Bible is authored by God who cannot lie. We are reminded that the proper attitude to have when we receive God’s Word is to receive it with meekness, joy, and respect. We learn that God backs up His Word, so we can see Him bring it to pass when we believe it.
Vision
The First Century Church Believing Prayer Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 07/01/2016 07/01/2016
The teaching covers the record from Acts 12 where Peter is put in prison after James was killed and how the church responded with prayer together in this intense life or death situation. Peter gets out by God sending an angel and returns to where the believers were together, praying. Peter’s miraculous release from prison along with the prayers of the church caused the Word to grow and multiply.
Believing vs. Fear
Believing Overcoming Fear Receiving the Holy Spirit and Manifestations The First-Century Church Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 06/26/2016 06/26/2016
We are shown the transition of Peter and the disciples from being behind closed doors because of fear before the day of Pentecost to having full confidence, trust, and believing on the day of Pentecost after they received holy spirit. When they listened, followed and obeyed, their fear left. When we have no fear, we are able to manifest power, and it is the manifestations in operation that will bring people to fellowship. We are instructed to believe God, to please God, and help others believe God by seeing our example of believing.
