We can not allow fear to rob us of what the Word of God clearly tells us is ours. The teacher goes over the example of the Israelites failing to enter the promised land due to the fear they had of what they saw with their senses and how quickly that fear grew. We are shown how Jesus Christ and Elisha did not let the circumstances cause them to be afraid when others were. Finally, the example of Abraham is presented and how he looked beyond what was in front of him and chose to believe the promises of God.

We are important to God. This teaching goes over some of the things that we have been made to be which make up our true identity. We are shown Paul as an example someone who accepted what God thought of him instead of being caught up in his past mistakes. We are encouraged to get the Word of God into our heads so and believe it in order to take care of ourselves and others.
