This is the opening teaching of the 2025 Youth Advance on believing. The teacher goes over what believing is, how we need to believe that God loves us, and building believing in our lives. We are given the examples of the flea in the box and the elephant chained to a stake so that we can learn not to limit ourselves in believing God, and we look at an example of Jesus Christ’s believing.

This teaching was taught at the Central New Jersey Men’s Fellowship.
The teaching goes through the record of the fall of man in Genesis, Chapter 3 and looks at how Satan attacks by questioning the integrity of the Word of God. We are instructed how to approach God’s Word so that we believe it over any other information. Keep your focus on God and His faithfulness instead of yourself and your believing.

The song “Railway Cars” was performed by Christina Armstrong, Kristy Nafey, Jerry Carr, and Eric Rosa during the fellowship before the teaching.
Age doesn’t matter with God; He works in the young and the old with no regard for age. This teaching looks at Samuel and David as young believers who God chose, spoke to, and worked in. Then, we saw how Abraham and Moses uprooted their lives in their old age and saw God do great things in their lives and worked in them to help God’s people. We are reminded that the God in Christ in us never weakens or decays and encouraged to take our hands off of things and let God work.
