We are pressing toward the mark of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. This teaching takes a look at the life of the Apostle Paul, a man who believed in the return of Jesus Christ, and what it took for him to press toward the mark. The Hope of Christ’s return takes you beyond the here and now. There is rest in the Hope. God will reveal things to you to help keep you moving in your race. Salvation is by grace, and once you are in the household, there are rewards and crowns to be won. The Bible mentions five crowns that can be won. Our footsteps upon this earth are temporal, but what we do for God and for His Word in our lifetime will be heard throughout all eternity. We have a living hope because we have a living God. God never forgets His people. This is our time in history for us to lay hold of the high calling of Jesus Christ, our Hope. Allow God to set the vision of our lives. We are sons of the Almighty God pressing toward the mark.
