Our Hope: Christ’s Return

The Hope Greenkill Conference Center Chatten, Bob 06/28/2018 06/28/2018

This teaching is overflowing with truths about the great Hope of Christ’s return and what it means for us as the body of Christ. It starts off with fall of man in the Garden of Eden and our need for hope. It breaks down the events of Jesus Christ’s second coming and the comfort we have as a result. Then, it looks at all of today’s issues that will be COMPLETELY done away with as a result of the Hope, starting with the seven things in Romans 8 that can try to separate us from the love of Christ. There will be perfect unity with the Hope; division will be done away with. We are going to get perfect, eternal, supernatural, and unfathomably wonderful bodies. The rulers of the darkness of this world will be overcome. And finally, there is going to be the final destruction of the Devil and his greatest weapon, death. We’ve never known life without the Adversary. There will be no more pressure, hurt, or evil. It will be gone forever, never again to be seen. We will no longer have need for the whole armor of God because the fiery darts of the wicked will not exist. Paradise restored is the final culmination of the Hope. The central blessing is that God will be there with us face to face like in the original Paradise. Our God has always been a God of hope and He wants us to be people full of hope as a present reality. The hope of Christ’s return is the Christian believer’s immovable North Star that keeps us on course and influences everything we do. Every time we speak in tongues we prove that Jesus Christ got up from the dead and remember that he is coming back. To know and to love the Lord Jesus Christ is to joyfully anticipate his return. We have the Hope of Christ’s return…he is coming back!

The Hope of Christ’s Return

This teaching describes the great hope and comfort of the Church in an extraordinary way. In a moment in time, all the years God has worked to finally gather His family will pay off at the sound of a trumpet. Today, we live in the Grace Administration; the very next administration is when Jesus Christ comes back again. The tyranny of evil is almost over because God has another thing in the works. This is a living hope in the heart of God, in the fabric of all life, and written in the stars. Jesus Christ is coming back! This world is filled with tears, and we are faced with death every day of our lives. But there will come a time, when everything will be better, when we get new bodies, when we will see the dead in Christ, and when there will be no more sorrow, tears or death. The hope of Christ’s return is what enables us to bear up under the pressures of life and the darkness of this world. We can sound out God’s Word to the world and bring hope to those who are without hope. We don’t look for the world to be better or the church to be perfect because that’s not going to happen, so we look towards the return of Jesus Christ and keep ourselves in the love of God. God wants us to know that He is sending His Son back, so we can have that fact in our hearts every day as our anchor, our joy, and what makes this life worthwhile.

Jesus Christ: The Subject of the Written Word

The Hope How God’s Word Interprets Itself Integrity of the Word Greenkill Conference Center Zolezzi, Steve 04/29/2011 04/29/2011

Jesus Christ is the subject of the written word from Genesis 3:15 to Revelation 22:21. Since the fall of man, God has consistently given solutions to man’s plight. In the Old Testament, they looked forward to the promised Messiah. In the Gospels, he was present. In the Grace Administration, we look back at his accomplishments and look forward to his appearing.
