Sounding Out
Sounding Out Believing Renewed Mind Witnessing and Undershepherding Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jerry 04/26/2019 04/26/2019
This opening teaching to the 2019 Spring Advance covers how important it is for our lives to be examples of God’s Word. We are to pay attention to what we are believing about ourselves and other people, and we are to always be loving even when it is inconvenient. We can speak about and operate the manifestations, being out among the people of this world. We are reminded that speaking the Word to even one person can cause the Word to sound out across the world.
The Sound Mind
Renewed Mind Mountain Top Inn and Resort Armstrong, Joe 11/04/2018 11/04/2018
A sound mind is one that admonishes itself. In this teaching, we cover how to maintain a sound mind as mentioned in 2 Timothy 1:7. The teacher emphasizes the importance of thinking what God’s Word says in order to maintain a healthy mind throughout your life. We look specifically at Colossians 3 for examples of thinking patterns that a sound mind follows such as forgiving people, loving people, letting God’s peace rule in your mind, and remembering what you are thankful for.
Power
Renewed Mind Mountain Top Inn and Resort Scott, J.M. 11/03/2018 11/03/2018
This teaching is about the four steps to renewing the mind and how it is the key to demonstrating God’s power: (1) study God’s Word in our personal lives; (2) change our mental habits and control our thoughts to recognize our position in Christ as sons of God; (3) practice the presence of God; and (4) live the love of God. The renewed mind is the key to power because it enables the believer to demonstrate spiritual realities in the physical world. It is to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts that are in alignment God’s Word. God wants us to know the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe. It is not our own power; it is God’s power. His power far surpasses any limits. What do we have to do to manifest His power? We have to believe. God wants to show Himself strong on our behalf. We have to allow Him to get in the game and not stand on the sidelines. Sometimes we limit God in our lives because we are too cognizant of our shortcomings. God wants to work in us and doesn’t expect perfection. Why would such power be given to people if it wasn’t intended to be put to use? Let’s be spiritual powerhouses by allowing God to work within us!

Fear is Not from God
Overcoming Fear Renewed Mind Mountain Top Inn and Resort Gross, Patrick 11/03/2018 11/03/2018
This teaching is about fear not being from God and how we can combat it by focusing on what God has given us: power, love and a sound mind. The teacher compares fear to a hunting snare; it is targeted, subtle, and the more that one struggles, the tighter it gets. It is a deadly trap. We can escape the tricks of the Adversary by putting our trust in God. Fear has to be dissolved by the confidence that we have in God, not in ourselves. We have to be watchful of when those traps are being set for us because fear robs us of God’s promises. Fear is a great opportunity to believe God. We can extinguish fear with renewed mind believing as quick as the hiss of putting out a cigarette in a puddle. God wants to fight our battles for us, and He’s proven Himself faithful over and over again. In a poor or mediocre life, there is fear; in a more than abundant life, there cannot be room for fear. Let’s be confident in our God and keep the Word on in our brains.

God’s Deliverance in My Life
Deliverance Renewed Mind Aldersgate Center Flores, Milagros 06/05/2005 06/05/2005
This teaching shows the incredible juxtaposition of accepting God’s grace and receiving deliverance or refusing God’s grace and living in condemnation. Milagros tells the story of how she got into the Word, spoke in tongues and knew that she knew she was born again. She saw miraculous “coincidences” or, rather, people walking with God at the right place at the right time to help her learn God’s Word rightly divided. Even though her life was incredibly blessed, she chose to focus on the “little scratches” in her life, and in turn, stepped away from God’s Word. She refused God’s grace, love, and mercy and instead felt condemned and bitter in her heart. One day, she heard manifestations once again and knew she was home. Today, Milagros is the most loving, joyful person. She accepted God’s grace in her mind and is able to live a life of great love and helping others. God will not force us to change our minds; we have to change them. The difference between Judas and Peter in whether they received deliverance is that Judas refused God’s grace. Sometimes we have to talk with our Father, accept His grace, and move on. God wants the best for us and is able to deliver us in all things. We have to recognize our shortcomings but not allow them to condemn us. When help comes, accept it, and don’t refuse God’s grace. The decision is on us!
