In the context of God’s telling us He has given us the ministry of reconciliation, He details three aspects of it – that we are to be living epistles, we’ve been made able ministers, and we’ve been sent as ambassadors for Christ. Our ministry of reconciling others to God involves not only speaking God’s Word but also living the Word so others can see it in action, manifesting the gift of holy spirit which equips us for this ministry, and exercising our power and authority as sent ones from God to take the place of the absent Christ.

We are reminded that it is still a secret to most of the world that the Word of God is the will of God and that Jesus Christ came to make a more abundant life available to every man. The teacher warns us not to underestimate the impact of our walk and our example on other people. If God tells you to do something, do it. Acts, Chapter 8 is gone through, looking at the examples of how the believers in the first-century Church moved the Word.
