In this teaching to open the summer camp, we are taught that, if we want the Word to really move in an outreach capacity, we need to be living the scripture and manifesting power in a great way, not just giving nice teachings at fellowship. We are reminded that the God and His Word should be first and foremost in our lives, and the time and effort we put into it should be above what we put into other things. Share the big things that God does for you with people, and also recognize the little things that God does for you everyday and share those too. Remember that God meets our needs, so we should not be trying to figure it all our ourselves.

The theme for this 2024 Summer Camp was “OUTREACH”. We listened to teachings covering the tremendous topics in God’s Word on witnessing and undershepherding. We heard many practical keys to help us in the sharing of God’s Word and the “how” regarding the follow-up with people we have spoken God’s Word to. That’s the undershepherding part that is so exciting in our walks with our Heavenly Father. Everyone in this Body of Christ is needed. Our age, young or older, absolutely does not matter. God will work with anyone of any age who believes Him and His Word!
2012-12 Northern Area Day in the Word – The Word of God

This was the second of two Days in the Word held in the Northern Area of New Jersey in 2012. These events consisted of an afternoon with three teachings for adults with separate children’s fellowships going on at the same time, breaks to allow the believers to fellowship together, and a bookstore. Each one centered around a biblical theme, in this case “The Word of God”.

This was the second of two Days in the Word held in the Northern Area of New Jersey in 2011. These events consisted of an afternoon with three teachings for adults with separate children’s fellowships going on at the same time, breaks to allow the believers to fellowship together, a bookstore, and a dinner together after the teachings. Each one centered around a biblical theme, in this case “For From You Sounded Out the Word of the Lord” taken from 1 Thessalonians 1:8.

This event consisted of an afternoon with two teachings for adults with separate children’s fellowships going on at the same time, breaks to allow the believers time to fellowship together, refreshments, and a bookstore. It was an opportunity for the believers from fellowships throughout the Central Area of New Jersey to be together.

2023 Summer Camp – God’s Prevailing Word

For our first Summer Camp for adults since 2019 and our first at the Spruce Lake Retreat Center, the overall theme of the week was “God’s Prevailing Word”. The teachings each day revolved around a sub-theme: Monday was on “God’s Prevailing Word”, Tuesday on “Acts of Love”, Wednesday on “Believing Action”, Thursday on “Go Tell – Speaking God’s Word”, and Friday was the wrap-up summarizing the week.
