Renewed Mind: The Conflict

Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Cinardo, Nick 06/28/2018 06/28/2018

The renewed mind allows us the opportunity to walk with the power of God in a dynamic way, to manifest the greatness of God’s love, and to be able to minister to people. This teaching gives a doctrinal approach to renewed mind believing (how it works), an example of what the renewed mind looks like, and a practical process to operating the renewed mind in our own lives. Lust, communication, and forgiveness are some of the practical topics covered. Renewing your mind is taking the thoughts of God’s Word on any given subject into your own mind so that God’s thoughts become your thoughts. The mind of Christ is a new reality because we were born without it until we were born again. The mind and body we were born with cannot produce the spiritual results detailed in God’s Word. Therefore, we have to rely on the newness of life which God created in us in order to get the believing results promised in God’s Word. We have the choice to walk by believing, the greatness of God’s Word, or to follow after a dead existence. We are still God’s children whether we renew our minds or not. We should choose to pursue after the spirit of God within us because it blesses God and because it has great benefits of life and peace. God set up a way for us to have Him in our hearts all the time. The fruit of the spirit is available to us in our lives. The renewed mind is a thought by thought decision. It is an attitude regarding God and His Word. It is a process of putting God first plus believing and acting on who you are in Christ.

Conquering with God’s Word

Lifestyle of a Believer Prayer Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Armstrong, Joe 06/25/2018 06/25/2018

God’s Word says we are more than conquerors, but if we don’t walk out on the Word, then we will not see it in our lives. If we can be more than conquerors then that means there will be things in our life that we will need to conquer. We conquer by applying the Word. This teaching looks at two simple things God’s Word says to do to be more than conquerors in manifestation. First, be someone who prays a lot. Praying takes care of many situations even before they happen. Pray at every opportunity, and give everything to God. Carry out God’s Word by praying about things that you notice you are worried about. Second, have the Word in your heart more than anything else. We will need to go out of our way to have the Word dwell in us richly; we can take care of our insides by feeding ourselves God’s Word. It is more important for our hearts to richly have the Word than it is to eat the proper foods all the time. Tell yourself the Word; it will bless you and make your life really nice, like a tree planted by the rivers of water. You will believe God because your mind is full of God’s Word, and you’ll see Him take care of things over and over again. Praying and keeping the Word in our hearts helps us be able to handle pressure and accomplish things. We are free when we continue in God’s Word.

God’s Word: The Greater Reality

Believing Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Chatten, Bob 04/29/2017 04/29/2017

This is a simple and deep teaching on believing. God’s Word must be to us the greater reality. If we elevate the senses, facts, and our emotions above the promises God has given to us, we will be defeated. We must take our eyes off ourselves and our inability and put them on God.

Make Your Mind Behave

Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jesse 04/29/2016 04/29/2016

“To change our minds, we must change the thoughts that are fed into our minds.” In this teaching, we cover the importance of managing our thinking and feeding God’s Word to ourselves. The teacher describes the process of changing one’s habit patterns thorough the example of a daily routine and covers specific things God says about our minds and our responsibility to control what we think. We look at the Apostle Paul as an example of someone who woke up every day knowing exactly what his life was about, both before and after he began working for the one true God. We finish by reading verses in 1 Corinthians, Philippians, and Romans that emphasize the importance of being around other believers and living with people who help us renew our minds to God’s Word.
