Make Your Mind Behave
Renewed Mind Greenkill Conference Center Carr, Jesse 04/29/2016 04/29/2016
“To change our minds, we must change the thoughts that are fed into our minds.” In this teaching, we cover the importance of managing our thinking and feeding God’s Word to ourselves. The teacher describes the process of changing one’s habit patterns thorough the example of a daily routine and covers specific things God says about our minds and our responsibility to control what we think. We look at the Apostle Paul as an example of someone who woke up every day knowing exactly what his life was about, both before and after he began working for the one true God. We finish by reading verses in 1 Corinthians, Philippians, and Romans that emphasize the importance of being around other believers and living with people who help us renew our minds to God’s Word.

Grace, Mercy
God’s Faithfulness to Us and Our Faithfulness to God
Believing Integrity of the Word Renewed Mind The Fellowlaborers’ House (2 Baier) Nafey, Amanda 12/31/2011 12/31/2011
First, the Hebrew word ‘āman and the Greek word pistos, both of which are translated “faithful”, are discussed. Then, we look at God’s faithfulness to His Word and to us as we believe His Word. Finally, we look at our faithfulness to God which is in caring for the rightly divided Word.
Overcoming Fear
Believing Overcoming Fear Renewed Mind The Fellowlaborers’ House (2 Baier) Carr, Jerry 12/31/2011 12/31/2011
Believing God’s Word brings confidence in Him; fear is the enemy of believing . In this teaching, we examine the record of the man who was blind from birth being healed by Jesus Christ. Then, it covers what fear does to us and that God helps deliver us from fear.
Speaking the Word to Ourselves
Renewed Mind The Fellowlaborers’ House (2 Baier) Gilmore, Michael 12/30/2011 12/30/2011
This teaching is a good reminder to keep our minds on God’s Word and that God knows more than we do. God’s Word has a promise for anything we need; we can learn those verses and let them permeate our hearts and minds. We are often caring and patient with others, so let’s be patient with our own frailties too. As a practical exercise in applying what was taught, at the beginning, before the teaching began, each person was given an index card and was asked write something on it that they “hated” about themselves. Then, at the end of the teaching, the teacher read what people wrote (without mentioning who they were) and the group all contributed verses that that person could apply to think God’s Word of him or herself.
Speaking the Word in the Gospels
Jesus Christ’s Example Renewed Mind Witnessing and Undershepherding The Fellowlaborers’ House (2 Baier) Carr, Jerry 12/29/2011 12/29/2011
This teaching covers examples of Jesus Christ speaking the Word, preaching, healing people, and exhibiting the power of God. Seeing these records, we learn about the mind of Christ that we are to put on, and we remember that we can do the same things that he did and more. His example helps us to help people.
